Farm Solterre is located 1 hour to the south of Paris in a small village near the town of Montargis. The estate adjoins a 16th century church and is made up of the remains of the 19th century Solterre Castle burned during the war, and farm buildings from the same period.
The estate includes a 2 acre park bordered by a wall with the village on the other side. There are beautiful pathways throughout the park which link the different buildings to the estate's vegetable garden, orchard and swimming pool.
The rooms have been tastefully renovated to the highest standard with special attention given to quality bedding and furniture. Each room includes an ensuite bathroom with shower and has french doors which open out onto the park. Most of the rooms are a shared double. There are a limited number of single rooms.
Dining and Living Areas
Meals are taken in the main house by the fireplace at a large solid oak table, or if weather permits outside in the shade of the trees in the park. The living room includes comfy couches and chairs by the fireplace.
A stunningly renovated yoga room with full props includes a view of the park. Vaulted barn ceilings create a spacious feel connected to nature and the sprung wood floor make it perfect for yoga.
