Saturday 10 March - 10-12.30 : Opening the Chest and Shoulders - a New State of Energy

2.5-hours, yoga/movement based workshop

Some of the negative side effects of using a computer are that we find ourselves with frozen shoulders, sore forearms, and injured wrists. This workshop targets these issues with a special sequence of postures that opens the chest and shoulders, as well as the entire boy. This induces an emotional sense of release, brings the mind into stillness, and the body into a new state of energy. Open to all levels except absolute beginners. This movement workshop is both challenging and very healing.

Saturday 10 March - 14-16h : End Anxiety and Re-inspire: The Extraordinary power of Breathing Patterns 2-hours - Breathing & light movement based workshop

We currently have an epidemic of stress and anxiety in the business world that is stifling creativity, leadership, and eroding retention. In the face of such a pervasive problem, it might seem that something as simple as intentional breathing couldn’t possibly help.  But scientific research and Max’s personal experience engaging with audiences in hundreds of cities around the world have both found that utilizing conscious breathing patterns for a few minutes every day is the most productive approach for creating immediate relief from stress and anxiety. In this lecture, followed by some interactive instruction, Max teaches leaders how to use breathing patterns to trigger more inspiration, focus, health, and more calm in our lives.

So, there is no better time to rebuild your vision of your life. The special seminar will give you knowledge to take home with you to help you live a more authentic life with improved sleep. Teacher’s event : Monday 12 March - 9-13h30

The Art of Teaching Yoga from a Universal Platform

4 hours - This intensive is appropriate for yoga teachers, as well as those in training.

Today telling someone who you just met that you are a yoga teacher could be as much of a liability as something worthy of admiration. And this is because the modern yoga-world has adopted a pop culture that has reached the global media, mostly due to the scandals of charismatic narcissists dressed in lycra. Perhaps it is time that we all take the second and third look at what we are doing, and why we are doing it. Are we really creating an environment that welcomes people of all religions, atheists, and even cynics?  Would soldiers, police officers, and your own mother feel comfortable in your class?

The capacity for transformation is present in each of us. In this teacher's intensive you will learn how to guide ordinary people to experience extraordinary healing and transformation from a universal platform, meaning it is inclusive as opposed to exclusive. Whether or not the student has a stiff body or a rigid schedule, this intensive will offer an approach to yoga postures; breathing, meditation, and ethical living that will help others to access healing and transformation within their practice.

Subjects include: 1.   Teaching and communication from a universal platform. 2.   Principles of minimalist Hands-on Adjustments and Hands-off Adjustments 3.   Breath/energy cultivation for beginners and those with anxiety, depression, and burnout. 4. How to introduce meditation and stillness to people with hyperactive minds - 5.  Vital Leadership
