Body Positive Yoga Weekend with Donna Noble in Brussels

Body Positive Yoga Weekend with Donna Noble

Yoga for EveryBODY

Brussels 20 & 21 March 2027

Yoga isn't just for the flexible, the slim or the experienced. It belongs to everyBODY.

Join me for a weekend exploring Body Positive Yoga and discover what happens when we stop trying to fit our bodies into yoga and instead allow yoga to fit our bodies.

This weekend is open to everyone. Whether you're completely new to yoga, have been practising for years or you're a yoga teacher, you'll leave with practical tools, fresh ideas and perhaps a different way of thinking about your body and your practice.

Together we'll explore movement, breath and rest while looking at how an inclusive yoga practice can support our wellbeing, our nervous system and our brain health.

More than anything, I hope you'll leave trusting your body a little more than when you arrived.

What We'll Explore during the weekend :

An Introduction to Body Positive Yoga and Its Impact on Brain Health

Discover how yoga can be experienced as a body positive and accessible practice that supports self-acceptance, confidence and everyday wellbeing, while also helping to support brain health.

Through movement, breath, rest and reflection, we'll explore how creating a sense of safety in the body can influence the way we move, think and experience the world around us.

Suitable for all levels, this workshop invites you to discover how adapting yoga to your body, rather than asking your body to adapt to yoga, can create a more enjoyable and sustainable practice.

The session will conclude with time for questions and discussion.

Saturday 10h - 12h30

Asana Lab : Exploring Possibility

One of my favourite workshops.

Have you ever wondered whether you're doing a pose "right"?

Together we'll explore different ways of approaching familiar postures using props such as blocks, belts, bolsters and chairs.

Rather than asking, "Can my body do the pose?" we'll ask, "How can the pose work for my body?"

This session is suitable for everyone and offers plenty of ideas for teachers wanting to make their classes more inclusive.

Saturday 14h - 16h30

Yoga Wheel Workshop

The yoga wheel is one of my favourite props because it invites curiosity and play.

Some people think it's only for advanced yogis, but I've found it can help make many postures feel more supported, more accessible and, most importantly, more enjoyable.

During this workshop we'll explore ways to use the wheel to:

  • Build strength.

  • Improve mobility.

  • Create space in the body.

  • Develop confidence.

  • Support balance.

  • Experience familiar postures in new ways.

Whether you've never touched a yoga wheel before or already have one at home, this workshop will give you plenty of ideas to take away.

Sunday 10h - 12h30

Creating Inclusive Yoga Spaces

Yoga is changing, but there is still work to do.

In this interactive session we'll explore what inclusion really looks like in practice.

Together we'll discuss:

  • Inclusive language.

  • Diversity and representation.

  • Teaching the people in front of us rather than teaching the "ideal" pose.

  • Creating spaces where people feel welcomed, respected and able to participate as they are.

If you're a teacher, I hope you'll leave with practical ideas you can use straight away.

If you're a student, I hope you'll feel more confident choosing the classes and teachers that are right for you.

Sunday 14h - 16h30

Rest, Reflection and Integration

We'll finish the weekend by slowing everything down.

Rest is an important part of yoga, yet it's often the first thing we sacrifice.

This closing practice offers time to breathe, move gently, reflect and simply notice what your body has been telling you throughout the weekend.

Sometimes the greatest learning happens when we stop trying so hard.

Throughout the Weekend

There will be plenty of opportunities for questions, discussion and shared learning.

This won't simply be a weekend of attending yoga classes. It'll be a chance to explore ideas, challenge assumptions and discover different ways of thinking about yoga and the body.

As my new book, Demystifying Yoga, will have recently been published, I'd also be delighted to include a book signing and an informal Q&A.

Suitable For

This weekend is suitable for:

  • Yoga practitioners of all levels.

  • Complete beginners.

  • Yoga teachers.

  • Trainee teachers.

  • Wellbeing professionals

  • Anyone interested in accessible and inclusive yoga.

  • Anyone curious about Body Positive Yoga.

  • Anyone wanting to discover how yoga can meet them exactly where they are.

Props

We'll be using a variety of props throughout the weekend, including : Yoga mats, Blocks, Belts, Bolsters, Blankets, Chairs, Yoga wheels.

Come as you are.

Leave with a deeper understanding of Body Positive Yoga, practical ideas you can use immediately and, I hope, a renewed appreciation for the wisdom of your own body.

About Donna

For over a decade, Donna has been helping people reconnect with themselves through movement, rest, reflection and self-compassion. Her work is rooted in the belief that wellbeing isn’t something we have to earn and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to living well. She believes wellbeing should be accessible to everyBODY

As an author, speaker, wellbeing coach and yoga educator, Donna is passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, supported and that they belong. Whether she is speaking on a stage, leading a workshop, facilitating a retreat or teaching a class, her aim is always the same : to help people reconnect with themselves and remember that they do not need fixing.

Donna is the author of Teaching Body Positive Yoga and the forthcoming Demystifying Yoga, and has also contributed to Black Girls Om Too, Beyond the Mirror, Forgiveness Is the Hardest Thing and Yoga Saved My Life.

Before moving into the wellbeing world, Donna spent more than 20 years in the corporate sector. Today, she brings those experiences together through speaking, writing, teaching and facilitation, helping individuals, communities and organisations create more inclusive and compassionate cultures.

She was also one of the original co-creators of the UK’s first Black wellness and fitness festival and continue to advocate for greater accessibility, representation and belonging within wellbeing spaces.

Known for her warm, down-to-earth approach, she shares both professional expertise and lived experience to help people challenge limiting beliefs, build self-trust and discover that wellbeing is already within them.

Because sometimes the most important journey is not becoming someone new, but coming home to yourself.
